Sarah & Joseph were up from Chicago to visit gran in Wisconsin, so we made a cheeky little detour to Bradford Beach for an hour of engagement photos — Milwaukee engagement photographer style, which is to say, not much like engagement photos at all.
We skipped stones (kinda), sat on logs like we’d been doing it our whole lives, and knocked out some gloriously cheesy JCPenney-style portraits nobody asked for.
A massive lake freighter rolled through the background and turned half the photos into a threesome, the yellow magnolias were showing off, and somewhere in there somebody told a big fat lie about Dip Tech graduations that I am still not over.
An hour, zero fuss, and exactly the kind of weird little session that reminds me why I love this job…
